As some of you know I am pregnant with my second child. The newest addition to our family is due November 17, 2018! When my husband and I decided to start trying to conceive I immediately started taking a prenatal vitamin. Some moms to be may not know this, but you should start taking a prenatal 6 months before you start trying to get pregnant.

Since I am a Sam’s Club Member, I went to my my local club to purchase a 5 month supply of Nature Made Prenatal® Multi + DHA (200mg) 150ct. soft gels. The bottle was less than $20, which is an awesome price! You can find this bottle in an aisle close to The Pharmacy.

Good morning and happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week. Since we recently moved into a new house I have been unpacking a lot of boxes. While I was unpacking, I found a ton of McKenna’s baby stuff and it made me reminisce about when she was an infant. I miss those days and can’t believe how small she used to be. If you have been following my blog, then you know that we recently moved to Houston, TX from Dallas, TX. So, there were lots of road trips back and forth between those two cities. Road trips with toddlers can be really smooth if they decide to sleep most of the time or the complete opposite if they are not entertained. Lucky for me McKenna likes to sleep in the car so she slept most of the time for the 3 1/2-hour trip. If moving wasn’t a big enough life change, we found out that my boyfriend received a temporary assignment in Findlay, OH for two months. I have decided to make the move with him and we leave Ohio this Friday. Instead of flying, we are going to take a road trip to get there. The total trip is about 18 hours so I know McKenna will not be sleeping the whole way. This has inspired me to create a Toddler Road Trip Survival kit using Huggies® Cleansing® Wipes. Read more

My home in Dallas is over 6 hours away from my entire family. I will be moving to Houston, TX soon, but that drive is still 4 hours away from them. Since I will be closer to my family they have already mentioned to me several times how they plan to visit us more. We have a guest room, so they always stay with us instead of getting a hotel room. When they come in town they are usually very tired from the drive. I like to make my family members feel as welcome in my home as I possibly can. Read more
