New Orleans Modern Map Art

Gift Ideas/ Travel

Guess what time it is? It’s Carnival Time aka one of my favorite parts of the year. For those who don’t me, I was born an raised in Baton Rouge, LA which is an hour away from New Orleans. I also lived in the Warehouse District of New Orleans and cheered for the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans holds a special place in my heart and to top it off my boyfriend is from New Orleans. If you have read some of my past posts you can see that I go back to New Orleans a lot! One time of the year that I don’t miss is Mardi Gras, which is quickly approaching. Since New Orleans is so near and dear to me I wanted some art work to display in my house to remind me of all the wonderful times I have spent there. My Rodan and Fields Lash Boost Results

Beauty

So I wanted longer lashes (because what girl doesn’t?), but didn’t want to pay for the purchase and maintenance of eye lash extensions. The name of that product is Rodan and Fields Lash Boost. Read more

Mommy and Me Monday – Valentine’s Day Edition

Fashion/ Little Me and Free/ Mommy and Me Monday

It’s Mommy and Me Monday and this “Ladies in Red” look is one of my favorites so far. Since Valentine’s Day it tomorrow I decided to find something for us to wear for the special day. Now that McKenna is getting older and is well behaved when we dine out, I have decided to take her to the movies for Valentine’s Day. Since she has never been to the movie theater I figured this would be a good time to start. Plus a lot of the movie theaters around here have a look & dine option. Look & dine basically means that you get to watch the movie while you have a waiter from the adjoining movie theater’s restaurants serve you food. Since she loves to eat I think one way or another, this will be an entertaining experience for her. The one thing I haven’t figured out is which movie we are going to see. If you have any suggestions that would be good for a two year old to see, please comment below. Read more
