Holiday Gift Guide for Kids 2024

Gift Ideas/ Toys

With Christmas less than two months away, right now is a great time to start prepping your holiday shopping list. My kids are always into the latest and greatest toys and games. Over the years, many of their favorites were by Moose Toys. So today, with the help of my kids, we are rounding up our Holiday Gift Guide for Kids featuring Moose Toys. Check them out below.

Little Live Pets My Really Real Puppy Patches

Do your little ones love puppies like mine do? Then meet My Really Real Puppy Patches the Beagle. This puppy gives kids the ultimate realistic puppy experience. This puppy looks and feels so real with the softest fur, blinking eyes and weighted paws. Each puppy is unique with 1 in 72 combinations of different eye colors, collar colors and secret birthmarks. The girls found Patches’ heart shaped birthmark on her belly. She also comes with a pet carrier that has a removable top so it can be turned into a pet bed.

Celebrating Mother’s Day With The Perfect Jewelry

Fashion/ Gift Ideas

This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I was paid for this post and received the included jewelry as compensation.

I have an incredibly close bond with my mother and am thankful for all of the guidance, love, and patience she had with me as I grew up. I could be quite difficult to handle at times, but I learned from my mistakes and it shaped me into the person I am today. That being said, my mom is a very important person in my life. Now that I have two girls of my own, I hope that we will share the same type of bond.

For Mother’s Day, my parents and sometimes even my grandparents travel to Texas to celebrate with us. We typically spend the weekend together by doing some shopping, enjoying delicious meals, and attending church together on Mother’s Day. For my mom, and my grandmothers, I always get them a Mother’s Day card, and I try to find them a unique gift each year. With Mother’s Day coming up, May 12th to be exact, I wanted to share with you some great gift options from Kohl’s to celebrate all of the women in your life. This year I even decided to treat myself to something as well. 🙂

For myself, I purchased a Lab-Created Sapphire and Cubic Zirconia Sterling Silver Halo Pendant Necklace and Stud Earring Set. I love dainty, matching sets. When I saw this one, I was immediately drawn to it. I had recently purchased the dress I am wearing and knew that this set would be a perfect match with it.

I have not purchased gifts for my mother and grandmothers yet, but I wanted to share some of the ones that I like. My mom and I have similar taste, so I want to get her the same set that I have except in Blue Topaz. Since she was born in December, Blue Topaz is her birthstone, which makes it the perfect gift for her. For my grandmothers, I love the idea of getting them a cross necklace. Since Kohl’s has over 600 options, it is going to take me a little while to narrow my choices down to the perfect one.

To make my shopping experience at Kohl’s even better, Kohl’s has some fantastic sales on jewelry.

Kohl’s is running the following sales:

  • 4/11-4/20 55-60% off fine jewelry in select styles
  • 4/24-4/28- 70-75% off fine jewelry in select styles

My home in Dallas is over 6 hours away from my entire family. I will be moving to Houston, TX soon, but that drive is still 4 hours away from them. Since I will be closer to my family they have already mentioned to me several times how they plan to visit us more. We have a guest room, so they always stay with us instead of getting a hotel room. When they come in town they are usually very tired from the drive. I like to make my family members feel as welcome in my home as I possibly can. Read more
