In my household, all of my kids love bath time, especially my oldest, McKenna. She is currently five years old, but ever since she was a baby, she has always been happy in the bath. She, of course, loves being clean too.
Our family recently moved into a new home, and my master bathtub happens to be much larger than my previous one. It also has bath jets, which my last one did not have. That being said, the kids are always begging me to take bubble baths in my bathtub no matter what time of the day it is. For them, bath time equals fun time.
As a baby, when it came to bathtime, I used JOHNSON’S baby products on McKenna. Now that she is grown into a sweet, young girl, I’ve made the transition to JOHNSON’S Kids Hair Care products to accommodate her haircare needs.
JOHNSON’S Kids Hair Care consists of five different product lines to cover every child’s unique hair type. These include the following:
- Strengthening: strengthens hair & helps prevent breakage
- Curl Defining: smooths frizzy hair & defines curls
- Clean & Fresh: keeps hair clean & fresh all-day
- Shiny & Soft: smooths & shines hair
- Ultra Hydrating: nourishes & hydrates hair
You can find JOHNSON’S Kids Hair Care products at Walmart in the personal care aisle of the Health and Beauty department or easy add them to your next online pickup or delivery order!
To give you a little background on McKenna’s hair, it is thin and very fine. It also tangles easily. When it came to choosing a shampoo and conditioner for her, there were many great options by JOHNSON’S Kids, but ultimately I chose JOHNSON’S Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. Bonus points that these are both tear-free!
JOHNSON’S Strengthening Tear-Free Kids’ Shampoo smells great and I have definitely seen an improvement in the look and feel of McKenna’s hair since we have started using it. This shampoo is easy to lather. It also cleans hair completely and rinses out quickly. It is specially designed to be milder than adult products so it’s ideal for use on kids’ and toddlers’ developing hair, this strengthening shampoo gently cleanses, nourishes, and helps prevent breakage.
The shampoo and conditioner go hand in hand. JOHNSON’S Strengthening Tear-Free Kids’ Conditioner is formulated with vitamin E and wheat bran to leave hair strong, moisturized, and healthy-looking.
In addition to using the strengthening shampoo and conditioner, we also used JOHNSON’S Shiny & Soft Kids’ Conditioning Spray with Softening Argan Oil on McKenna’s hair. It is enriched with argan oil and silk proteins and leaves hair feeling smooth with a natural shine.
It makes McKenna’s thin hair soft and easier to brush plus she loves the smell. It also doesn’t leave a heavy film on her hair, and it works very well on wet hair out of the bath, but it can also be used on dry hair.
My second oldest daughter, Rylan, will be turning two in November. Once she does, we will be making the transition from JOHNSON’S Baby to JOHNSON’S Kids Hair Care for her hair as well. Her hair is totally different than McKenna’s. Since she has curls we will definitely be using some of the Curl-Defining products for her hair.
I am so glad we made the transition to JOHNSON’S Kids for McKenna’s hair. They really are the best hair care products for your little one. Head here to learn more and shop their full line of products at Walmart. There are so many options for your child’s specific hair need!
