When I am in a rush to pick something out to wear I always gravitate towards my dark colored clothing. There are a few reasons I do this. Number one, now that I am a mom I find that McKenna has a tendency to wipe her face on my clothing. Even when I have already wiped her face, there frequently seems to be remnants of her last meal on my pants’ leg! Wearing dark colors keeps the stains on my clothes unnoticeable. Number two, wearing all black or dark colors makes your body look slimmer, and like most people I like looking slim. Lastly, black clothing pieces are easier to coordinate with other pieces of clothing, so it’s also a matter of convenience. When I am out and about running errands on the weekends with McKenna or running late for work, I am normally wearing all black. It’s my go to attire.
My racerback tank, which is super comfortable, is by a company I recently discovered called Backroad Design & Gifts. Anyone who knows me knows that this 4% Human & 96% Caffeine shirt is basically a full description of me since I drink around 4-5 cups of coffee a day (even on the weekends) and occasionally a regular Coca Cola. Yep, I’m a caffeine addict, but who’s not these days? My cap is also by Backroad. It’s made out of faux leather, but it’s such a high quality that you can’t tell the difference between the faux leather on the cap verses the real leather jacket. Backroad has some really cute and original graphic tees. You should check them out! They also have a men’s line. 🙂
