Bath Time With the Summer Infant Clean Rinse Baby Bather

Baby Gadgets/ Gift Ideas

As some of you know, Rylan has congenital hip dysplasia and is in a Pavlik harness 23/7. She loves the one hour a day that she gets to spend without the harness. During that hour, she gets a little bit of tummy time and she gets her bath. Needless to say, that hour is her favorite time of the day, not to mention she LOVES bath time! For her bath, we use the  Summer Infant Clean Rinse Baby Bather. Read more

Gift Ideas/ Little Me and Free

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.com.

Christmas is exactly 12 days away and all we can say is hooray! The Christmas Holidays are my favorite time of year because I get to spend it with my friends and family back home in Louisiana. I also love to see the looks on everyone’s faces when they open their gifts, especially the kids. They have such looks of pure joy, and I get such satisfaction knowing I got them the perfect Christmas gift. This year I am glad to be partnering up with Babbleboxx to review some amazing toys for kids of all ages. If you are still on the hunt for that “perfect gift” for the kids than consider one of these as an option.  Read more

McKenna’s 2018 Holiday Toy Wish List

Gift Ideas

This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I was paid for this post and received the included toys as compensation.

Oh man, this year is flying by! I felt like I blinked and it was already November which means next month is Christmas! While I love the holidays, the preparation beforehand can be somewhat stressful. Since I like to stay ahead of the game by doing my Christmas shopping early, I wanted to put together McKenna’s 2018 Holiday Toy Wish List to help those who are not so prepared. The best part is, all of these toys are available at Kohl’s!

In addition to Christmas, McKenna’s birthday also falls in the month of December, December 17th to be exact. When I asked her if she wanted to help me pick out toys from Kohl’s, of course, she said “YES!” We looked online to see what was available. We also took a trip to our local Kohl’s, because what kid doesn’t want to be able to look at and play with every toy in the store?! After what seemed like hours in the toy section, McKenna picked out her favorites, and also made recommendations on what we should purchase this holiday season for her cousins.

Kohls carries a lot of various toy brands, so for this post, I am going to feature five of our favorites, Melissa and Doug, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Disney Princess, and LEGO. You are also able to buy online and pick up in store and redeem Kohl’s Cash from your purchases.

Like almost every other three-year-old girl, McKenna is Disney Princess-obsessed. She can name every Disney Princess, and their pets, evil stepmothers, princes, you name it. She loves watching Beauty & the Beast, both the cartoon version and the more recently released live version. When she saw the Disney Princess Light & Twist Wheelies Tower by Little People she said she “had to have it.” For those of you unfamiliar with Little People, they are made by Fisher-Price. McKenna started receiving Little People toys and accessories as gifts when she turned one, and she loves to play with them. They make great gifts for children ages 1-5. Read more

Preparing Our Guest Bedroom For Holiday Visitors

Gift Ideas/ Home Decor

This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I was paid for this post and received the included home goods as compensation.

Both my husband and I were born and raised in Louisiana, but we now reside in Houston, TX. When it comes time for any major holiday we end up always having to travel to Louisiana to celebrate the occasion. This year the Thanksgiving holidays will be a little different for us since we are adding another member to our family. Our second child, Rylan, is due November 17. With that being said, our families will be traveling to Houston to stay with us and celebrate Thanksgiving. To make sure they feel comfortable during their stay with us, I have already started to prepare our guest bedroom by adding new bedding from Kohl’s.
