It’s May, which means it’s officially about to be summertime aka my favorite time of the year. School is out for the kids, and here in Texas, it gets really hot. Our family is always looking for ways to spend time together and beat the Texas heat. One way we do this is by taking mini staycations or shall I say MayCations, to my brother’s swimming pool. Luckily my brother lives in Houston too, so it is only about a 10-minute drive to get to his place.

Christmas is exactly 12 days away and all we can say is hooray! The Christmas Holidays are my favorite time of year because I get to spend it with my friends and family back home in Louisiana.
