Like a lot of people I was a dog mom before I actually had any children of my own. I received my dog, Romy, when she was a puppy. Romy is a Yorkshire terrier, which I named after the character from, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. The day I got her she weighed less than a pound and she fit in the palm of my hand. With her being so tiny, I had to be extra careful taking care of her because she was so fragile. Now, here we are seven and half years later, and Romy weighs a whopping four pounds and rules our house. She is definitely an important (and spoiled) member of our house.
