After I got these new Stuart Weitzman boots (cheaper option here) I have been looking for any excuse to wear them. They are very comfortable so I can wear them while running errands or for a night out on the town. I found the perfect outfit from Gray Monroe to pair them with to take my look from day to night.
Gray Monroe is a cute little online boutique that sells very reasonably priced clothing. The first piece to my look, which is a key piece, is a black, quarter-sleeved, cotton dress. This dress is great because it’s black, which is a great color on everyone, and it can be pulled down to knee level or hiked up to created layers to cover up any tummy imperfections. Being that I am only 5’4” I prefer to ruffle it a little bit, and it’s more figure flattering for me.
For daytime while it’s cold her in Dallas, I paired my black dress with an olive duster, also from Gray Monroe, and one of my favorite beanies. The olive duster is super comfy and can be paired with lots of different looks. I have also recently worn it with a t-shirt and jeans. I have had my black beanie from Saks Off 5th with the gray fox fur pom for a few years. It’s such a great hat that they still sell it. Many other stores also sell similar versions.
For my evening look, all I have to do is ditch the duster and the hat and I am good to go! To glam it up more you can add a statement necklace or earrings, and switch the shopping tote to a clutch.
