It is officially back to school time which means it is time to stock up on all your back to school needs! From uniforms ann=d supplies, to snacks the shopping list can be quite long! When I am shopping for all my back to school items there is one snack that always makes it on my shopping list, popchips!
If you haven’t heard of popchips you are missing out! Unlike most potato chips, popchips are not fried. Instead they are popped, by being heated in a pressurized chamber. This allows them to be a lighter chip with half the fat, and keep more of their potato flavor. Once they are popped they are seasoned into one of six flavors. These flavors include Barbeque, Sea Salt, Sour Cream & Onion, Crazy Hot, Zesty Jalapeno Cheddar, and Sea Salt & Vinegar. In addition to classic popped potato chips, popchips now makes bold & crunchy popchips Ridges & protein-packed Nutter Puffs.
When I am picking up popchips for back to school time, I purchase the six-count variety pack which contains three bags of the Sea Salt and three bags of the Barbeque flavor. These are two of thier best selling flavors. McKenna enjoys snacking on the Sea Salt popchips. They are definitely a classic tasting chip with a touch a sea salt, making them perfect to pair with your favorite dip. Although I do like the Sea Salt ones, my favorite flavor is Barbeque. The Barbeque flavor is a mixture of tangy sauce and a hint of smoke.
The six-count variety pack is a great choice for on the go and packing in school lunches because each .8-ounce bag is individually wrapped. The single serving bags contain 130 calories or less, no artificial flavors, 0 grams of trans fat, and are gluten free. Plus, they are non-GMO and made with real ingredients, so you can feel confident about giving your kid these healthy school snacks. Not to mention your kids will be excited to find a delicious bag of popchips in their lunch box!
Have you finished all your back to school shopping? What are some of your favorite back to school snacks?
