Growing up, I was always a fan of My Little Pony and collected several of them as toys during my childhood. I now have three daughters of my own. My oldest, McKenna, also loves My Little Pony as much as I did. When she found out My Little Pony: A New Generation was coming to Netflix on September 24th, she was thrilled! In honor of the movie, Hasbro recently released the My Little Pony: Sparkle Squad collection which includes 6″ pony figures from the movie. So, when McKenna discovered she would be receiving the My Little Pony: Sparkle Squad ponies, she was bouncing off the walls with excitement!

Red Roof Luvs Pets – Galveston Beach Trip

Last weekend my family and I took a road-trip to Galveston, TX. We even took our pup, Romy, with us. For several years we have talked about taking an overnight trip to the island and we finally got around to doing it! Our home in Friendswood is only a 30-minute drive from Galveston. Since we have a dog, it was always easier to take day-trips, so we didn’t have to worry about boarding her or having to pay enormous hotel pet fees. That has all changed since we discovered Red Roof.
