Before I had kids, I traveled all the time. I loved being spontaneous by taking last minute trips with little time for preparation. Now that I have kids, I still love to travel, but traveling with kids is a lot harder. I have to do a lot of planning beforehand and make lists of everything that needs to be packed. With one child the list wasn’t too bad, but now that I have two, one being an infant, the list is a lot longer. Since McKenna is a toddler, she doesn’t need that much. Rylan, who is seven months old, is a whole other story. Babies need a lot of stuff to keep them comfortable. If I could load up the car with every baby gadget we had for her, I would, but that is not realistic. So, when it comes to packing items for her on our trips, I have to be strategic.
