Happy Monday! It has been a whirlwind of a week for us. We evacuated Houston last Thursday to come back up to Dallas, to avoid Hurricane Harvey. We had no idea how chaotic things would be in Houston, so we are so glad we left when we did. In the middle of all the craziness going on, we were supposed to close on our new house in Houston this Wednesday. Now that Houston was declared a natural disaster zone, we have no idea when we will be able to close. We also haven’t been able to see our new house since the storm hit, however we were told by our sweet new neighbors that are house has been safe from flooding thus far. I am hoping that the worst part of the storm has passed and we are in the clear, but we can’t be certain of that yet. Hey guys! Happy Monday! Between traveling and packing up the house to move, it has been a hot minute since I have a done a Mommy and Me Monday post. If you didn’t know, we are moving to Houston, TX at the end of this month. I can’t believe the time is almost here. I will be leaving a city I love, but looking forward to our new adventure. Since I have been doing a lot of packing lately, including most of my kitchenware, I have been cooking a lot less. When I was asked to try out the new Gluten-Free Crust Pizza from Papa John’s, I of course jumped at the opportunity, especially because it was one less meal I had to worry about preparing. Read more
