After having McKenna (and gaining 50 lbs) I was not feeling my best. The lack of sleep and having a C-section also fed into me wanting to wear my maternity clothes even though I was no longer pregnant. When you are a first time mom taking care of a baby around the clock, you always put their needs before yours. The one priority I did have was getting as much sleep as I could. When it was time for me to go to events, I picked out outfits that required little effort to look good and didn’t bother my C-section scar which was still healing. Since it was in the middle of holiday season when I had McKenna, I looked for clothing that could be worn before and after I had her.
