Life has been crazy lately! McKenna and I have been on the road traveling for the past month with my fiancé, Randy, due to his temporary work assignments. Most of our time has been spent in Ohio and Louisiana. We have all been living out of a suitcase which isn’t easy to do. My fiancé works very hard, and rarely has time to shop for himself. Did I mention he is also hard to shop for? Every holiday I am challenged by what to gift him. He does love high tech products, especially ones that improve your quality of life. For my tech savvy guy, I found the perfect gift for the holidays at Kohl’s, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart Electric Toothbrush. Read more

Well Happy Fall Y’all! I wanted to take a break from packing for our trip to Ohio to share with you one outfit from Janie and Jack that will definitely be in McKenna’s suitcase for our adventure. If you haven’t heard we are moving to Findlay, OH for two months, while my boyfriend takes a temporary work assignment there. Since we are from The South, we are not used to the cold weather, so I have to make sure we pack for the occasion. McKenna’s new attire is the perfect fall ensemble, so no apologies if you see pictures of her in this outfit take over my Instagram feed. Read more

If you have been following my blog, then you know that we recently moved to Houston, TX from Dallas, TX. So, there were lots of road trips back and forth between those two cities. Road trips with toddlers can be really smooth if they decide to sleep most of the time or the complete opposite if they are not entertained. Lucky for me McKenna likes to sleep in the car so she slept most of the time for the 3 1/2-hour trip. If moving wasn’t a big enough life change, we found out that my boyfriend received a temporary assignment in Findlay, OH for two months. I have decided to make the move with him and we leave Ohio this Friday. Instead of flying, we are going to take a road trip to get there. The total trip is about 18 hours so I know McKenna will not be sleeping the whole way. This has inspired me to create a Toddler Road Trip Survival kit using Huggies® Cleansing® Wipes. Read more
