Feeling Festive For Fall With This Home Decor

Home Decor

Who is with me when they think this year has flown by? Temperatures are starting to drop and soon the leaves will be changing colors, at least that’s the case in some parts of the country. Here in Houston, TX we won’t see what I consider cooler temperatures until November. Even though it still feels like summer here, I enjoy being able to decorate my home for Fall. For today’s post I am excited to be partnering up with Bed Bath & Beyond to feature some awesome fall decor!

As some of you may know, I moved into a new home in Houston about a year ago. The day we were supposed to close on our new home, Hurricane Harvey hit South Texas. While our home was not flooded, many homes and businesses in the area were. This includes the Bed Bath & Beyond in Humble, TX. In honor of the reopening, I was recently asked to visit and shop at the completely remodeled store. Since I am a huge fan and regular shopper at Bed Bath & Beyond, I was excited to check out this one of a kind concept store. When I first arrived at the store I was impressed with how nice the store looked, and I took my picture next to the flood gauge at the entrance which shows the flood line from Hurricane Harvey.

This Bed Bath & Beyond is unlike any other one across America. So what makes it so unique?

  1. The Wedding & Gift Registry Services – There is a section of the store completely devoted to gift registries. There are chairs and computers available for sitting down and browsing items online. There are also popular customized wedding registry items that are in this section so you can actually see what the item looks and feels like before customizing your order.  This would have come in very handy when I did my wedding registry earlier this year, which I did at Bed Bath & Beyond.
  2. Texas Made Section – There is a section of the store devoted to products that are made locally in Humble, and throughout Texas. This ranges from Texas made pralines to Humble signs and pillows.
  3. Seasonal Section – This section is devoted to seasons and holidays. With Halloween and Autumn both approaching, this section was full of great decorating items including pumpkins in every shape and color you can imagine!
  4. Beyond Value! Items – At the beginning of various aisle throughout all sections of the store, there are Beyond Value displays. These big deals and hot steal items are marked down to ridiculously low prices and new items are frequently included so you can always expect to find amazing deals every time you revisit this Bed Bath & Beyond.
  5. The Treasure Hunt – This particular section of the store is full of furniture and decor where you can find amazing deals! This inventory is constantly changing, and the same items are not restocked. If you see something you want, buy it, because there is a good chance it won’t be there the next day.
  6. Bedding Section – When buying bedding online it can be hard to tell the color and quality of the material. Like most people, I like being able to see what I am purchasing in person before I buy it, especially when it comes to bedding. At this location, you can do that. There are tons of samples throughout the bedding section so you can see the look and feel of the bedding (including comforters) before you make your purchase.
  7. Brew Section – For all you coffee lovers, this section is for you. If you are in the market for an espresso machine, then you meet with their onsite barista who can demonstrate for you how the machine works and actually let you try the coffee after it is brewed.  I purchased my Espresso machine from Bed Bath & Beyond (which I love) earlier this year, and would have enjoyed to be able to experience this before I made my purchase.  In addition to espresso machine demos, you can always try out k-cup flavors before you buy them. They even have a cute little sitting area for you to enjoy your coffee while you sample the flavors.

After my in-store experience a this remodeled Bed Bath and Beyond, I was able to get some shopping done. Since I was in need of some new fall decor in my home, I immediately when to the seasonal section and picked up some amazing pieces.

As you can see below I decorated my living room with some great fall throw pillows and created this festive, fall tablescape. I can’t wait to have my family and friends over for Thanksgiving! I think they will love all of my festive fall decor from Bed Bath & Beyond! Do you love to decorate as much as I do for the holidays? If so, what is your favorite holiday to decorate for?
