My Experience With Custom Ink From Start To Finish

Now that you are more familiar with Custom Ink, let me tell you about my experience creating t-shirts for a crawfish boil. In case you didn’t know, I am from Louisiana, and so is my husband. We grew up eating crawfish. Crawfish boils were always an event I looked forward to attending. You knew you were going to be outside eating good food, drinking cold beer (if you’re old enough) and enjoying lots of great conversation. Now that we live in Texas, crawfish boils don’t happen as often, so they really are a special occasion for us. Since we had a crawfish boil coming up, I decided to commemorate the gathering by creating t-shirts. To start I went online to make an appointment at my local Custom Ink Store’s Design Lab and gave them an idea of what I wanted to create. When I arrived for my appointment at the design center, I walked into a clean and well-organized space. I was greeted by one of the staff members who brought me to a desk where I started my one-on-one appointment with a product and design expert, also known as an “Inker.” She then proceeded to ask me about my event and if there was anything specific I wanted on the t-shirts. To my surprise, she even showed me drafts for me to look at that she created before my arrival. After some discussions, we decided I should select the t-shirt we would be customizing. She showed me several t-shirt options and helped me to choose the right style for the group. I selected a raglan t-shirt, which was white with red sleeves. We then collaborated on the design by using some of her suggestions and mine to create Boiling With The Bordes’ t-shirts. For those who don’t know, Bordes is my last name. 😉 After I confirmed the design, I selected the number of shirts and sizes I needed along with a delivery date before completing my order.
A few days later I received an email from customer support to confirm my design in case I wanted to make any last-minute edits. After confirming, my order went into production. As you can see I was so excited to receive my order. It arrived ahead of schedule, packaged neatly in a white and red Custom Ink box. The shirts were exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations.
