Before I had kids, I traveled all the time. I loved being spontaneous by taking last minute trips with little time for preparation. Now that I have kids, I still love to travel, but traveling with kids is a lot harder. I have to do a lot of planning beforehand and make lists of everything that needs to be packed. With one child the list wasn’t too bad, but now that I have two, one being an infant, the list is a lot longer. Since McKenna is a toddler, she doesn’t need that much. Rylan, who is seven months old, is a whole other story. Babies need a lot of stuff to keep them comfortable. If I could load up the car with every baby gadget we had for her, I would, but that is not realistic. So, when it comes to packing items for her on our trips, I have to be strategic. In September of 2017, our family moved into a brand-new home. We love our home, but all of the walls were painted exactly the same color. I told myself that after we moved in I would add my personal touches to the house, and even paint some of the walls including one of the walls in my daughter McKenna’s room. Well, it’s June of 2019 and I am just getting around to the painting project but hey that’s life! I guess everything happens for a reason though because earlier this year McKenna was diagnosed with Asthma and given an inhaler. That being said, I am extra careful about what products I use in my home, which is why EasyCare Ultra Premium Paint was the perfect choice for this DIY paint project.

That being said, with Father’s Day approaching I know I needed to get ahead of the game and shop early for them this year. After going back and forth I decided why not get them something I know they don’t have, custom gifts from Personalization Mall. Read more
It’s May, which means it’s officially about to be summertime aka my favorite time of the year. School is out for the kids, and here in Texas, it gets really hot. Our family is always looking for ways to spend time together and beat the Texas heat. One way we do this is by taking mini staycations or shall I say MayCations, to my brother’s swimming pool. Luckily my brother lives in Houston too, so it is only about a 10-minute drive to get to his place. Read more
