A Pretty Blue Dress

Fashion/ Little Me and Free

Hey peeps! I just got back from Disney World and I am exhausted! On our trip home yesterday McKenna and my mom both got sick. Needless to say being confined to a plane for three hours with a two year old throwing up the whole time was not my idea of fun. Luckily I had packed an extra change of clothes for both of us so we weren’t traveling in clothes with McKenna’s puke on them. 🙁 My mom and dad were on a different flight since they were traveling to New Orleans. My mom’s flight experience was very similar to ours. Hopefully both of them start to feel better today, and thank goodness my dad and I didn’t get sick so we could take care of them. I plan on putting together a blog post from our trip to highlight some of the things we did during our stay at the “Happiest Place on Earth”. Until then here are some pics of McKenna in a pretty blue dress. 🙂

Occasionally McKenna gets to shoot by herself, and this particular day was one of them. When she shoots by herself she either is super excited about taking pictures or doesn’t want to take them at all. I feel like there is no in between and this shoot was no exception. As you can see in the pictures she went from grinning from ear to ear to completely over taking pictures five seconds later. Even so, it was still fun to watch her take these pictures and I am glad I will have them when she is older.

McKenna’s pretty blue dress is from Gap and it’s currently on sale. I loved the white lace detail on the bottom. This dress is great for church, or for any dressy occasion this spring/summer. The dress runs true to size; she is three feet tall and wearing a 2t.

Her silver shoes, have been her go to pair of sandals this spring. They have zippers on the back so they are easy to put on and take off. They also come in two other colors. Oh, and did I mention they are on sale for $13?!

McKenna’s little blue and white striped bow is from Little Luba, and to complete her look she wore a white bunny purse. The Astrid Bunny Pochette is from Olivier Amandine. It is very soft and made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Flannel in Brooklyn, NY.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week! It’s almost the weekend! Yay!
