In our city, the tap water doesn’t taste as good as bottled water. I am not sure what makes it taste the way it does, but our family chooses to drink bottled water instead of drinking water from the tap. That being said, as a breastfeeding mom, I always have a bottle of water with me wherever I go. The last thing I want to do is get dehydrated or decrease my milk supply. With all of the water we drink, our family goes through a lot of bottled water. Buying bottled water is not only expensive but also causes our recycling bin to overflow every week. To make drinking water more cost effective for our family, we switched over to a Primo® First Steps Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser.
For those of you that are not familiar with Primo Water and The First Steps Water Dispenser, here is a little background:

  • The dispenser provides cold, warm or hot drinking water with the warm option supplying water at 98.6-104o Fahrenheit—specially designed for mixing baby formula.
  • Piping-hot water has child-resistant safety feature
  • Self-sanitizing function boils water in warm water reservoir to
ensure quality
  • Primo® is the only brand that delivers best in class dispensers for the home + bulk water either exchange or refill water.
  • Give everyone access to safe, great-tasting Primo® water today with the First Steps Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser. This dispenser will grow with a family’s needs as the options for icy cold and hot water are also part of this station!
  • Easy bottom-loading design – just push the bottle in the cabinet, easy!
  • Water dispenser uses 3 or 5-gallon water bottles (sold separately)
  • Sets up in minutes so you can start hydrating in no time, no tools, plumbing or installation required.

The Primo water dispenser is so easy to set up. I love its sleek design, and it fits in perfectly with the aesthetics of my home. As you can see I purchased a 5-gallon bottle of Primo Water at my local Walmart. The Primo display was located at the front of the store. You can use this locator to find the nearest location to pick up, exchange, or refill your Primo Water bottle.

So, let me tell you exactly how the Primo First Steps Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser is perfect for every member of my family. In addition to getting the water dispenser to replace the purchasing of bottled water, we also got it to replace the future purchases of gallons of baby water for Rylan. When I had Rylan who is now five months old, I planned to exclusively breastfeed her until she reached six months old. Once she turns six months, I will transition her to formula. With the water dispenser, I no longer have to purchase gallons of baby water to make her formula because the water dispenser will sanitize and dispense the water at the perfect temperature for a baby bottle. I am very excited about this feature, not only does it save our family money, but it also saves me last minute trips to the store because I have run out of water for the formula!

Expecting a little one? Don’t forget to add the Primo water dispenser to your Baby Registry!

McKenna believes we got the water dispenser just for her because she can fill up cups of water on her own. She loves feeling independent. Now she no longer has to ask me to get her a bottle of water which is also nice. 🙂 My husband and I both love how convenient the water dispenser is, as you can see, we can hold Rylan in one arm, and use the other to fill up a nice cold great tasting glass of Primo Water. Since the Primo Water Dispenser is so convenient to use, it encourages our whole family to drink more water, and keep us on track to living a healthy lifestyle. Needless to say, the Primo First Steps Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser really is perfect for every member of my family.

I agree our tap water taste a little off. We drink so much bottled water, it’s getting very expensive!!! After reading your post, it’s definitely making me think about changing things. This looks like a very awesome product our family could use! Also, would save so much money in the long run. Thanks for sharing! By the way, your little ones are absolutely beautiful!

I like that the water bottle is on the bottom and you can choose from cold and hot water.
