I recently discovered the BeautyNow booking section which allows you to schedule appointments at various salons and spas throughout the Houston area. Last week I got to experience the Groupon BeautyNow booking service first hand by booking manicures for me and my daughter, McKenna.
As most of you know, I bring McKenna with me almost everywhere. I love spending quality time with her, and one of the things we love doing is getting our nails done. So I booked us each manicure at Heights Retreat Salon & Spa through the Groupon BeautyNow booking service.

The booking process was very easy. First if you have not downloaded the Groupon App, you will need to do so. Once you have it downloaded, you click on the BeautyNow section. You will then be prompted to fill in the criteria of the type of service or company you are searching for. Once you have searched for that criteria, you can see what services are available, including the times and the costs for each option.
As you can see below I searched for Heights Retreat Salon & Spa, and then I was able to see what appointment times were available and that the cost was $20 per manicure. Since I booked for two people, I had to create two separate bookings. Once I confirmed the time slots I needed, I was taken to the payment screen where you can enter ‘LITTLE15’ in the Promo or Gift Code section to save $15 on your service. You can then pay the remainder including tip via a credit card through the Groupon app. The whole booking process was seamless and took less than 5 minutes.
When we arrived at Heights Retreat Salon & Spa, we were greeted by the staff who asked us to pick out a nail color. I let McKenna pick the color, which ended up being a neon orange. I guess since we were both wearing orange that day, she wanted to match our outfits. After our color was selected we were taken straight to our seats to begin our manicures. Our manicurist took her time and did a great job. Once we were done they confirmed that we had already paid through Groupon, and we were sent on our way.
After having such a great experience using the Groupon BeautyNow booking service, I will definitely be booking future appointments through the service. I high recommend you give it a try and don’t forget to use code ‘LITTLE15’ at checkout to save $15 off your first booking!
