Over the years my kids have had the privilege of trying out some of the latest and greatest toys. McKenna, my oldest, especially enjoys discovering new toys. When she saw that Moose Toys was coming out with a Magic Mixies Crystal Ball, she exclaimed her excitement. So, she was completely overjoyed when I told her she would be getting her very own to review.
As you can see, McKenna looked like a kid on Christmas when she discovered the box! She couldn’t wait to open it up so she could discover what Magic Mixie she received. If your kid loves magic like mine does, then a Magic Mixies Crystal Ball is the perfect gift for them. Once your child casts the magic spell with the light up, interactive wand, a mist appears in the crystal ball, then magically, your Mixie reveals itself!
The Mixie is a fortune telling pet. You can use the magic wand to perform spells, play a game, nurture it, and of course, have your fortune told by your Mixie! Your little one can repeat the reveal again and again and even use the Magical Crystal Ball as a Night-Light!
To reveal your Mixie, you need to follow these six steps:
- Illumi – Awaken the Crystal Ball
- Mistos – Summon the Magical Mist
- Coloramo – Add color to your Mixie
- Melodias – Form your Mixie’s voice
- Fortunas – Teach your Mixie to tell Fortunes
- Magicus Mixus – Bring your Mixie to life!
After waving the wand up, down, then sideways for each step, the ball changes colors so you know it is time to proceed to the next step. I have to say, McKenna and I were so impressed by the Magical Mist that appeared. It really makes this toy so unique!
McKenna was thrilled when her pink Mixie finally revealed herself. She decided to name her Missy the Mixie. While playing with her in fortune teller mode, McKenna asked Missy if she will become The President one day? Missy said “Yes!” McKenna was shocked and also very pleased with the answer. 🙂 She then tried out game mode, and after had some tickle time with her. McKenna’s younger sisters loved how cute and cuddly Missy was, so they got in on some of the tickle time action as well.
After interacting with her Mixie and discovering all of its amazing features, it was time for bed. McKenna placed the crystal ball on her nightstand and turned it to night-light mode. She adores how it lights up her room at night in her favorite color, pink. The Magic Mixies Crystal Ball is truly a magical gift that keeps giving.
