Wedding Wednesday – Gifts for the Groomsmen

Gift Ideas/ Wedding

Randy and I went back and forth about what gifts to get for his groomsmen. Shopping for my bridesmaids’ gifts was easy, however coming up with something good for the groomsmen was much harder. The gifts ultimately were decided upon once we chose to have the groomsmen buy their tuxedos instead of renting them. Randy wanted to keep the costs to purchase their tuxedos around the same price as it would be to rent. In order to do that, it made the gifts for the groomsmen decision easy.

The groomsmen paid for their pants and jacket which were purchased at Jos. A. Bank. They were all given a gift card as part of their groomsmen’s gift to purchase their tuxedo shirts from Jos. A. Bank as well. In addition to this gift we also purchased their bow ties, cummerbunds, pocket squares, and shoes from a different company called Buy4LessTuxedo.com. All these items were very reasonably priced. We considered getting tuxedos from this company however the quality was lacking. Now these were all great gifts in my opinion, but Randy wanted something to set their tuxedos apart from the rest.

One thing that Randy is known for is the colorful and fun socks that he wears on a daily basis. He was recently gifted a pair for Christmas that had coffee and beignets on it from a local New Orleans brand called Bonfolk. This is how we discovered this amazing company. For every pair of socks sold, one is donated to a shelter or charity for homeless folks in need. To date, they have donated over 40,000 pairs in the state of Louisiana. Their designs are unique and represent the various aspects of New Orleans culture. Since we love what this company represents we decided the Jazz socks would be the perfect gift to finish out the gifts the groomsmen. Needless to say all of the groomsmen loved this gift, and we continue to get pics from them when they are wearing their Bonfolk socks.
