Happy Sunday! I just got back from Canada for my friend’s wedding, and I am having a great 4th of July weekend so far. Before I went to Canada, I got together with some of my Dallas blogger babes to do a 4th of July collaboration. It was such a fun time shooting with these ladies. We did the photographs at Turtle Creek Lane. The house is amazing! It was completely decked out in honor of the 4th. They even had a blue carpet instead of a red one at the entrance as part of the decorations! It was so cute!
Sweet Memory Photography shot our pictures and provided us with delicious cupcakes from Small Cakes bakery. All of these ladies are so special, so thank you for inviting me to this fun shoot!
Now let’s get to my outfit details. My top which I am obsessed with because of the fun, ruffle sleeves is less than $40 from Nordstrom, when I saw it, I thought it screamed 4th of July. So of course I had to have it. J My shorts are actually shorts I have had for several years from Zara, but I found similar ones here. I got my flag scarf from Old Navy, which is currently on sale for $5, and my shoes from Steve Madden are also on sale right now. Last but not least my outfit would not be complete without some statement earrings, and a red purse. My earrings are from BaubleBar inside of Nordstrom, and my purse came from the original Chanel store in Paris. You can find a cheaper version of my purse here.
Do you have big plans for the 4th? We are in Disney World for part of the week and then Destin, FL the later half to celebrate. I know I am excited!
