Well we have officially made it to my last post of the #ItsAColorfulLife series which means Summer is coming to an end. đ For those new to the series, each month I have been featuring various flavors of Tampico Juice paired with an activity. In addition to creating blog posts to document our experiences, we have also been creating a scrapbook as another way to remember this colorful journey. This month’s theme is Let’s Put On A Show!
Since McKenna is a born performer I thought this would be a great way for her to express herself by putting on a show with some of her talents. These talents include ballet and Tae Kwon Do. McKenna just completed her first year of ballet, and will be starting her second year this Fall. She truly loves ballet, and it makes me very happy because I grew up loving to dance. The ballet costume she is wearing is the one she wore for her recital this year. She decided to perform her recital dance, which was to the song Ma Belle Evangeline from the movie, The Princess and the Frog. It was such a cute little dance.
Her performance didn’t stop there though! Since she recently became an orange belt in Tae Kwon Do she showed us some of her moves. There are only a few girls in her class, so it is nice to see her keep up with the boys. She also will be working on her next belt this Fall.
This month’s Tampico Juice flavors are ZERO Citrus Punch and ZERO Mango. These flavors taste just as delicious as their original counterparts however they have ZERO sugar and only five calories per serving! These are great alternatives for people looking for a low sugar option.
For this of you who missed my previous posts, here is a recap of our previous months’ posts with our scrapbook pages. You can also click on each link to read the full posts.
May: Let’s Take a Family MayCation – This month we featured Citrus Punch and Blue Raspberry . Our Maycation consisted of our family including my parents, heading to my brother’s pool for the day to enjoy some fun in the sun.
June: Let’s Explore The Outdoors – Island Punch and Kiwi Strawberry Punch were the flavors of June. To explore the outdoors our family took a bike ride around our neighborhood in East Downtown Houston to some of our favorite spots.
July: Let’s Cook Up Some Fun – This month we cooked up some fun in the kitchen with Tampico’s Tropical Punch. We made Frozen Tropicolada drinks and even drank them out of carved out pineapples. These drinks were delicious and so easy to make!
August: Let’s Express Ourselves –  For the month of June we expressed ourselves by creating a door wreath inspired by the month’s flavor, Mango Punch. This was my first time attempting this DIY project and it was a lot of fun.
All great things must come to an end. Thank you so much for following along with us on this journey and we hope you enjoy the rest of your Summer.
