Rylan’s 2nd BOO-thday Bash + Cash Giveaway!

Little Me and Free

Yesterday we celebrated Rylan’s birthday. Our little boo turned two! The party was on Halloween morning so costumes were encouraged. I decided to dress up with the girls in costumes from halloweencostumes.com. I chose A League of Their Own inspired costumes so we dressed up as Rockford Peaches baseball players.  Like Tom Hanks says in the movie, “There’s no crying in baseball,” and there were definitely no tears shed on such an exciting day.

For the party decor I ordered a bunch of Halloween themed items from Amazon. I put together a balloon garland with some of those items which was really fun to make and I also hang up various Halloween decorations throughout the house. We ordered a bounce castle for the older kids and Tiny Pits and Play came out and set up soft play for the younger kids. Tiny Pits and Play is based out of Houston and they deliver various types of soft play depending on your selections for parties. They do a great job of disinfecting the equipment before setting up and then they come to pick it up once the party is over. It was definitely a huge hit at the party and gave the younger ones something to do in a safe environment.

For desserts, Dessert Gallery, based out of Houston created a Halloween themed cake with black and white stripe, orange drippings, and Halloween themed sugar cookies on top. So many people at the party asked where it came from because it was such a delicious and moist cake. In addition to the cake, Dessert Gallery also made Halloween inspired cookies and cake pops for the party. If you are looking for amazing cakes and desserts for your next party, you should definitely order from them!

After we sang Happy Birthday to Rylan, we let the kids hit a skeleton unicorn piñata that I loaded up with candy. McKenna said that was one of her favorite things to do during the party and requested we have a piñata at her birthday party next month. Check out the funny video below to see how much she enjoyed swinging at it. Needless to say, it was a huge hit!

Since the party was in the morning, for the parents, I set up a mimosa and a bloody mary bar. All of the adults REALLY liked it! I also had Katy’s Parties there to paint faces. She is super talented, and actually painted faces at Rylan’s 1st birthday as well.

Rylan’s party was a huge success. I am definitely going to have a hard time topping this birthday! We had so much fun and we appreciate all of our friends and family who came out to celebrate our little boo!

In honor of Rylan’s birthday, I am thrilled to be partnering up with a few of my fellow blogger friends to giveaway $500 Paypal Cash! Click the widget below to enter!
